Hollywood teens 'burgled homes of stars'

A gang of wealthy teenagers stand accused of going on a year-long crime rampage through the Hollywood Hills, stealing millions of dollars in valuables from celebrities such as Paris Hilton and Orlando Bloom.

The group allegedly would find celebrities' addresses via star maps and the internet as well as property photos and schedules online then plot the robberies, People magazine reports.
The alleged ringleader, 18-year-old Rachel Lee, was arrested in Las Vegas at her father's home late last week, TMZ.com reports.


Police reportedly seized laptop computers, nude photographs, more than $20,000 in cash, a Korean passport and marijuana.



TMZ said cops also found items linked to the alleged crimes, such as a hat belonging to Lindsay Lohan and jeans belonging to Rachel Bilson as well as partially nude photos that were connected to Paris Hilton.

Earlier this week Lee's alleged accomplices — Courtney Ames, 18, Diana Tamayo, 19 and 18-year-old Nicholas Prugo — were arrested by police on suspicion of burglary, but only Prugo was formally charged.

The resulting media storm has swept in Playboy model Tess Taylor, whose 18-year-old sister Alexis Neiers was arrested in connection to the spree.
Neiers told TMZ.com co-accused Prugo was responsible for the crimes.

"I know for a fact Nick did all of these burglaries," she said.

"He did every single burglary, he told me this after the police let him go — Nick is blaming people trying to get the blame off himself."

Taylor, who is currently filming a reality television show, showed up at jail with a camera crew to film her sister and two of the other girls being bailed.

Among the heists were Paris Hilton's $2.1m jewellery robber late last year when the hotel heiress left her front door open and a break-and-enter at Lindsay Lohan's residence that resulted in more than $135,000 worth of cash and clothing being stolen.

The gang has also been linked to the robberies of celebrities Orlando Bloom, The Hills star Audrina Patridge, Rachel Bilson from The OC and television and movie star Hayden Panettiere.

All of the teenagers attended Indian Hills High School in the wealthy LA suburb of Calabasas.
Prugo has been charged with two counts of burglary over the Lohan and Partridge break-ins but freed on US$100,000 bail.

If found guilty of the crimes, he could face up to six years in prison.

Eminem VS Mariah Carey

"It has been reported that diva Mariah Carey is spitting mad at her alleged ex-boyfriend Eminem because he is supposedly playing personal messages she left the rapper when they were "dating" during his recent tour. Carey, for her part, has always denied that there was ever a romantic relationship between the two. The two were alleged to be dating in 2001 when he worked on her Charmbracelet album. In 2002, Eminem finally admitted there was something going on. He said then, "There is truth to the story. Now I respect her as a singer, but on a personal level I’m not really feeling it." Ouch.

Reportedly, during his recent Anger Management tour Eminem plays a clip of Carey’s hit "We Belong Together" and then allegedly plays a clip from one of Mariah’s voice mail messages that says, "I heard you were getting back with your ex-wife. Why won’t you see me? Why won’t you call me? You’re not calling me." He then pretends to vomit and starts singing his hit "Puke." Now, why would Mariah be upset about that? Oh yeah…it’s kind of embarrassing. Eminem reportedly said of Carey, "I don’t like her as a person. I learned a lesson from it – don’t believe the hype. She doesn’t really have it all together." Carey’s manager, Benny Medina, said in a statement, "While we appreciate Eminem as an artist, lately his work has seemed tasteless and unnecessarily mean-spirited. The public seems to agree – just look at his declining record and concert ticket sales."

Em sings about their disastrous relationship reportedly on his album The Eminem Show on two tracks. On the song "Superman" he sings, "[Bleep], if you died wouldn’t buy you life/What you tryin’ to be my new wife? What you Mariah?" And on "When the Music Stops," he says he’d rather get hooked on drugs than rekindle his relationship with the troubled pop star. Ok, we get that he doesn’t seem to care for her…but isn’t it a little excessive?"

Saddle club's star Jessica Jacobs Suicide claim

"The saddle club television star Jessica Jacobs, who was tragically killed by a train after slipping from a platform on the 10th of May 2008

Jessica Jacobs, an emerging 17-year-old stage and screen actor and musician, was about to meet her mother to go shopping for her brother's birthday present when tragedy struck.

The family have been told the teenager tripped from the platform and fell on to railway lines at Cheltenham railway station about midday.

But he said the family had been distressed by a Connex station worker who had told people, including them, Jessica's death was not an accident, but a Suicide.

Victoria Police investigators, however, have told the family Jessica stumbled as she walked along the platform.

Adam Jacobs said his stepfather and mother visited the station to view a makeshift shrine to Jessica when a woman working at the station told them it was not an accident. "My mum wants an apology. Where is their corporate conscience?" he said. "
