Bad hair day

Hairstyles have always been a great way to accentuate your best features, to stand out from the crowd or to simply finish off your look.
This is not the case when you give Ruby a pair of scissors, entrusting her to make your hair look good. After telling Tara that she liked her hair better short, Ruby asked if she could give it a trim to remove the split ends. Ruby sat Tara down in her back yard and started cutting. Tara said to Ruby that she was cutting the hair too short. Ruby told Tara that since she'd already started, there was no point cutting half of it short and leaving the rest long. she looked at ruby and back to the hair on the ground,
"Ruby" she started to say "don't fuck up my hair'
"I won't, I cut your fringe, I think I am a good hair cutter, I could be a hair dresser, trust me it looks good"
Tara gave her a trusted smile and just relaxed while ruby gave her the hair cut of her dreams.
"No stop" Tara said while running her fingers down her hair
"What's wrong now Tara?"
"I think you are done"
She ran to the mirror with her mouth open and her eyes in disbelief. " you fucking stupid girl, are you kidding me?"
Tara's long brown hair was turned into a short, uneven fuck.
"I changed my mind, it turns out I am not a good hair cutter"

HAIRSTYLES THROUGH THE AGES
In the time of the Ancient Egyptians, they shaved their hair and wore fancy wigs made with beads and gold.

Marie Antoinette also wore wigs. In her day the more elaborate your hair was, the higher status you had.

In the 1920's, the bob was the hair cut of choice for flappers.

In the 1930's Jean Harlow had a platinum blonde, wavy bob, decades before Marilyn Monroe.
Long, wavy hair was back in the 1940's thanks to the likes of Rita Hayworth.

The 1950's had no distinct cut, instead there were many hair cuts fashionable.

Mia Farrow made the pixie cut fashionable in the 1960's.

In the 1970's people loved Farrah Fawcett's feathered hair style.

In the 1980's, there was the mullet, the perm and the wacky colours.

The Rachel cut dominated the 1990's.
As for today? Anything goes. As long as your hair isn't cut by Ruby.
