If you haven't already heard Tim Burton (directed Charley and the chocolate factory plus Edward scissors hand) has created the next Alice in wonderland movie, staring Mia Wasikowska, Johny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter and Anne Hathaway.
My first reaction of the trailer was, it looks gloomy, dark and my memory of the sweet, and happy were all dead.Sweet and happy were the idea of the this old book, these memory's probably were influenced by the Disney version in 1951. It has been said, this movie will go far in ratings and will be the next big thing.
Compared on the 1999 Alice, I think Tim Burton's just look average and one of his typical movies. If you want to see a good Alice in wonderland, I recommend Nick Willing's MASTER PIECE.
